Joseph is very frustrated this summer. Today was one of his worst days. Because of the recent storms here in the PNW he couldn't play in the backyard today and he lost it. He has been banging his head on the glass door all day. These are the days I wish I could communicate with him better. If I could see in his mind for just a moment to understand. Hopefully a fully charged iPad and a chalkboard will suffice in the meantime.
Being a mom of two children with autism and an infant baby girl can make my days challenging but life can be a bowl full of cherries too.
